‘Stuart has been coaching me for more than 5 years, and both work and life have moved on significantly in that time. Stuart has a knack for cutting through vagaries, helping me find clarity, and supporting growth in my own mind and that of the company. His ability to support professional and personal development holistically is much appreciated. I always end a session feeling enthused and listened to, with clear actions and next steps either in life or work.’ Emrys Green, CEO of Cloud Artisan and Chair of the IOL
Reflections from the men I met whilst running a 5 week course commissioned by Ware Town Council’s Wellbeing Programme:
What did you learn?
Changing my mindset
The power of positive thinking
Only changing things that I am in a position to change
It’s made me more thoughtful; I now value reflection
Change happens through regular small habits

Person centred - based on your needs
Strength based - working towards your goals

By being person-centred, my approach allows me to support men, often senior leaders or founders of their organisations, at work and the impact it has on their work-life balance.
But making change can be hard. For example, Michael, on his transition from his high level work in the financial sector into secondary school teaching:
Before coaching, I felt uncertain about which career path was right for me. Working with Stuart helped me gain clarity on what truly matters to me and identify an industry where my skills and values could thrive. The sessions gave me the space to reflect deeply on what motivates me and what I want from my career. I now feel confident and positive about the career change I have made, with a renewed belief in my own ability.' Michael P .
My training comes from a rich history of psychology, emotional intelligence, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and contemporary research into leadership.
The focus of my work is developing trust and authentic communication. To be able to manage or lead others, as a male leader, you have to know:
who you are, what you want, and how to bring the best out of those around you
In building teams that trust and support each other, my coaching will:
develop active listening
coach teams to ask better questions
coach them how to have honest and open conversations
My coaching offer:
One-to-one coaching online or in person for 60minutes - £60
Two-hour team coaching (for up to ten participants) - £180
Half-day team coaching (for up to ten participants) - £220

What people say about my coaching?
What is coaching?
There are many approaches to coaching. Four years ago I trained in Relational Dynamics, an approach to work and life which draws on theories and tools from a wide range of sources including person-centred coaching, psychology, emotional intelligence, NLP and contemporary research into leadership and modern day communications.
I coach on a 1:2:1 basis, in person or over Zoom.
I also work with groups and teams.
I also facilitate Action Learning sets.
Why coaching?
Coaching is about being asked incisive questions that could unlock future goals and ambitions. It could also support you to find solutions. The model used is referred to as GROW:
Goal - what do you want?
Reality - what is happening now?
Options - What could you do?
Will - What will you do?
My experience is that you have all the answers within you, its my job to support you to find them. Sessions are always in confidence and you will never be judged.
The practicalities
